"All reactionaries are paper tigers. In appearance, the reactionaries are terrifying, but in reality, they are not so powerful. From a long-term point of view, it is not the reactionaries but the people who are powerful."

Clean the protective grease from the handlebars and tighten the clamps.
Tighten the bolts and then tighten the nuts. The nuts are lock nuts.
The switches are held in place by set screws. One set screw has a point that seats in a hole in the handlebars. The switches, then, are fixed in position. Don't take them apart or little springs will fly all over the place.
Control Levers can only be removed or adjusted by removing first the cable, and then the lever itself from the base. This reveals a clamp screw that faces the end of the handlebar. Loosen this clamp screw to adjust or remove the lever, then reassemble the lever handle and cable.
